The first Wolfsin analogue Husky PMR radio was born in early 2018 and although quite simple in operation, it was deceptively tough and durable and so the HUSKY model range was launched.

The first Wolfsin digital Husky DMR radio was born in 2019, an IP54/55 four model range which included Husky Alpha and Delta models. The WHD200 series was upgraded in 2021 and was renamed the HUSKY SCOUT and in late 2026 the HUSKY SCOUT 2 was launched bring the IP rating up to IP67

In 2024 the Husky Chinook was conceived and after a 22 month gestation period (about the same as baby elephant) the Chinook range was born, As intelligent as the HUSKY SCOUT but capable of doing a lot of heavy lifting in terms of operational duty cycle with a standard 3250 mAh battery.

Also in early 2024 a specialised HUSKY SIBERIAN was launched, its unique ability and design that was most able to clear water from the mic and speaker with a simple shake or tap against the leg, so good was this deign that it has been adopted into some of our latest Alaskan  and Siberian 2027 models, we rate this ability by giving radios a AQUAR rating, we also rate the number of times you need to tap the radio against your leg or hand to clear any residue liquid out of the mic and or speaker chamber, we call this the DTAP rating, look out for these ratings as a very poor AQUAR or DTAP rating could be the difference between commercial efficiency or even life and death in a hostile situation.

In early 2025 the Husky K9 analogue PMR radio was born, and the analogue "K" series was launched, surprisingly in our digital world the K9 Husky was our 2025 best seller due to its IP67 rating, incredibly clear analogue audio, which has nearly all the clarity of digital but retained the richness of analogue,  endearing itself to many end users!
