The Wolfsin Kodiak and Kodiak Cub use a case form design based on the natural curves found in nature, combined with a unique DTAP feature which enables the KODIAK to get rid of water ingress quickly and very efficiently, even in a veritable monsoon.

When you need a radio that can reliably work in the heaviest of rain, in a veritable monsoon, that the two way radio mic opening and speaker grill are able to easily and reliably remove all liquid ingress with just a few shakes of your hand or a few taps against your hand or leg, then you definitely need a KODIAK.
What is DTAP? Almost all modern digital radio are designed with small to very small mic holes and horizontal speaker grills which can simple clog up with rain, water or other liquids. This can and does reduce the effective spoken to mic audio input by up to 95%, further the design of many of the radio case speaker grills also trap water in the speaker chamber thus making the greatly reduced transmitted audio, when received, even quieter!
This can be so quiet that the received audio simply cannot be heard. The G2 Grizzly has been designed to allow any water trapped in the mic hole or speaker chamber to be simply cleared by a double tap of the radio against the users leg or hand - we call this double tap or DTAP.
